I was in Chico the other weekend for a workshop and it was the perfect time to enjoy some of Chico’s best. While I was busy with my workshop, Wildlife 4-8 was mountain biking Upper Bidwell Park. Maybe one of these days I’ll convince him to do a guest blog…

A great part about the Chico State campus and downtown Chico is that it has easy access to one of the largest municipal parks in the United States. Once my workshop was done I was able to hop on Atticus and pedal a couple of blocks to the park and a bike path. Then I rode the rest of the four miles to Upper Bidwell to meet Wildlife 4-8.

After our rendezvous we headed to the Sierra Nevada Brewery for a bite to eat and my first 2014 Summerfest! Plus we stocked up on this happiness-in-a-can for our upcoming adventures.
